And taking the Shamrock Rovers schoolboy out of Dublin and onto the biggest stage in world football didn’t faze him in the slightest.

As a mascot for Iker Casillas before tonight’s crunch Spain v Chile World Cup Group B clash, Duffy (that’s him in the bottom right of the screen) picked his moment, stared down the lens and delivered this wink to the watching millions.
