As regards shooting the Tipp lads for being boring! not a particularly nice comment my friend!

You sure its not Kilkenny your on about lad? if we could keep our lads out of the pubs and living a more “boring” life we might be better off.

Tipp need to re group and have the players to get back into this game. Dublin lost last year and are playing with hunger and passion and best of luck to em if they can win it.
I will continue boringly enough to shout for my own crowd!

Harsh free there on Tipp for Dublin to draw level but I think it’s the least Dublin deserved. Tipp only scored 1-2 from play, not good enough to win an All-Ireland. Would have been unfair on Costello and the Dublin backs to loose that game.

Dublin are defending very well especially in the full back line, are well on top in mid field too. Costello having a super game.

Maher and Gallagher need to get into it big time around middle of park.

McGrath is Tipps only scorer but wouldn’t agree so much on the frees being that soft.
Tipp need to get into it and get over their own hype and start hurling!
Dubs looking good at the minute but half time couldn’t have come quick enough for Tipp Id say!

  When Tipp do get the ball in space, they need to be more direct with it. Usual Tipp overelaboration on the ball is going to be punished by Dublin’s fast, strong backs.

Tremendous match between two great teams.
Dublin may feel they left this behind given that tipp only got 1-2 from play in the whole match and their forwards will probably improve the next day.
There’ll be some scramble for cormac Costello in a year or 2 given that he’s an equally good footballer!
Future is bright :)

Tipp still to score from play yet only a goal in it. The free taker is Tipp’s only scorer. A lot of soft frees.

  I think you’re overstating the “soft” frees, but that is some full back line. They don’t look like minors at all. The future looks bright for Dublin hurling.

  The corner back, Barrett, is only 16. 16! He’s hurling like a man twice his age. Great bravery, throwing themselves at everything. Great skills too with the amount of blocks, hooks and high fielding (particularly the full-back and Costello out the field).

That last free against Tom Hamill who has been immense at centre back for Tipp for over carrying definitely levelled up any possible dodgy refs decisions!

Credit must go to Willie Maher for whatever he did with his charges at half-time. Momentum has swung Tipp’s way. But there’s bound to be another twist in it yet.

  Ah come on, Dubs are playing very well but they are being physical and look stronger than the Tipp lads.
  Look like the best team at minute was a bad mistake for Tipp goal which is actually keeping them in it!
  
  Dubs are getting their share of frees too but at the minute the ref isn’t gonna be the winning or losing of it in my book anyway!

  I won’t resort to insults lads but the fact is tipp haven’t scored from play in the whole half. No dispute about the penalty, definite foul but several very soft frees went tips way there.
  Unless your from tipp surely you’d agree. If telling the truth is boring I’m guilty as charged!

The Dubs are bigger, stronger and faster, and plenty skilful with it. Hard to see what Tipp can do here, they’re looking to only be down by 4.
