First XV: Dublin make two changes for Royals

Midfielder Michael Daragh Macauley is named in the number 14 jersey while Cian O’Sullivan given the nod at half back.

DUBLIN BOSS PAT Gilroy has made two changes to the side which overcame the challenge of Wexford for this weekend’s Leinster football final.

Diarmuid Connolly, red carded in that semi-final, is replaced by Michael Darragh Macauley.

An all-star midfielder, Macauley has been named at full forward in the side where he is flanked by Bernard Brogan and Kevin McManamon.

Gilroy’s second change was not enforced as he calls upon Cian O’Sullivan to line out at left half back in place of Ger Brennan.

Fennel is blessed to retain his place. McAuley midfield and Kilkenny to take Connolly’s place would be a very strong line up

Agree. That has to be too strong for Meath, especially if Bernard Brogan is on form.

I reckon we’ll need goals to beat the Dubs, but then again we have been known to score 1 or 5, sorry 2 against them in the past

Yes, unlike Wexford Meath will be confident that they can beat Dublin and that counts for a lot. Should be an interesting game. I think the Dubs will do it but probably not by much.
