Dublin's All-Ireland quarter-final will be exclusively live on Sky Sports

The Road to Sam became a little bit clearer this afternoon as the GAA confirmed dates and times for the final qualifiers and quarter-finals.

ALL-IRELAND CHAMPIONS Dublin and Ulster champions Donegal will play their respective quarter-finals in a Croke Park double-header on Saturday 9 August.

The two games will be exclusively live on Sky Sports, the GAA confirmed today.

The other quarter-finals, featuring Kerry and Mayo against the Round 4A winners, have also been fixed for Croke Park on Sunday 3 August as part of a bumper bank holiday weekend schedule.

The Round 4B qualifiers — Meath vs Armagh and Kildare vs Monaghan — take place in Headquarters the previous day. Those two games will also be exclusive to Sky, as will the Round 4A qualifiers — Cork v Sligo, Galway v Tipperary — this Saturday.

The pairings for the quarter-finals are not yet known but because there can be no repeat of any of the provincial finals at this stage, an open draw might not be necessary.
