DONNCHA O’CALLAGHAN will be part of the Barbarians squad that faces England in an uncapped fixture at Twickenham on Sunday [KO 3.00pm].
The Munster second row was among the group of names the invitational side revealed this afternoon, with the likes of Ulster’s Roger Wilson, Racing Métro’s Juan Martín Hernández, and Georgian powerhouse Mamuka Gorgodze also included.
High-profile names such as James O’Connor, Joe Rokocoko, François Trinh-Duc, Hosea Gear, Rene Ranger and Ti’i Paulo make this an exciting Barbarians squad.
Irishman O’Callaghan will be joined in the squad by a former Munster teammate, as Racing Métro prop Juliem Brugnaut has been selected. Worcester Warriors coach Dean Ryan will take charge of the BaaBaas for Sunday’s clash.
35-year-old O’Callaghan has won 94 caps for Ireland, with his most recent international appearance coming against France in March of 2013.
