JOHN TERRY HAS further added to speculation over the future of Frank Lampard by saying that he would like to see his team-mate’s number 8 shirt retired.
Lampard is believed to be on his way out of Chelsea at the end of this season when his current contract is up and the 34-year-old’s agent Steve Kutner was quoted last night as saying that his departure is “certain”.
Club captain Terry, who is a regular user of social media site Instagram, posted an old picture of himself and Lampard holding the FA Cup trophy this morning as well as the words:
Devastated is an understatement. We should retire the number 8 shirt in honour of Lamps.”
The posts unsurprisingly received huge attention as Terry and Lampard have been close friends for over a decade. However, he has since explained that he has no inside information on the situation by writing: “I have seen Frank’s agent’s quotes on Sky yesterday. That’s all I’m going on nothing more.”
Towells behavior was disgraceful and unprofessional. He is finished at Rovers and has been a financial burden on the club considering he didn’t exactly live up to his nice contract this year. He will not be missed.
@Pro gamer Jack: He’s got a great set of teeth, though……
@James: I know that are amazing
@Pro gamer Jack: Not being smart but I heard he is on 100k€ per year – is that true?
No loss. He wouldn’t have been with us next year regardless. Has a lot of heart but little ability these days. One of the biggest let downs we’ve signed in recent years.
