THE NEW COLLEGE basketball season in America tipped off on Tuesday and it didn’t take long for the first blooper reel moment.

Derrick Gordon was anxious to make a good impression on his first start for UMass and no journalist was going to stop him.

Gordon was chasing a loose ball when he dived into the courtside press seats and cleaned out the man sitting in the front row.

Eh, ouch.
