Davy Fitz celebrates final 4 spot by recreating the 'Sharpey Shuffle'

It wasn’t wet enough to do a ‘Klinsmann’.

DAVY FITZGERALD DESERVED a bit of a dance after his Clare side managed to see off Galway by six points in today’s All Ireland SHC quarter final in Thurles.

We just didn’t expect him to get quite so, eh, funky down by the sideline.

It was a step and shimmy reminiscent of only one obscure 1990′s Premiership footballer. Yes, Ryan Giggs’ understudy Lee Sharpe.

Fitzgerald had it all, the knees bent, the hands in the air, the hips dangerously close to thrusting and – most importantly of all – a flag on the sideline.

Lovely stuff.
