DAVID KLEMMER WAS put on report during the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogsโ NRL clash against the Sydney Roosters last night after he led with the leg going into contact.
Itโs not a move weโve seen before, and probably one we wonโt be seeing any time soon again. Perhaps the most bizarre thing about the incident was Bulldogsโ captain Michael Ennis apparently suggesting that the referee reverse the penalty against his team.
Sonny Bill Williams scored two tries against his former employers in a 32-12 win for the Roosters, ending a seven-game winning run for the Bulldogs, who remain at the top of the league.
H/T: Cillian Hogan.
got to love rugby! even the players telling the ref to award a penalty against them!
Thatโs why he is captain, great stuff.
Here comes the hotsteppa!!!
Its why they say its a thugs game played by gentlemen
There was a guys that used to do that in a tag rugby league I played in, presumably to make people hesitant to tackle him. Incredibly annoying.
