DUBLIN SENIOR FOOTBALL manager Pat Gilroy will have to plan with out David Henry this year.
The Raheny man has decided to call it a day with the county after 10 seasons in blue.
Henry will not follow other former footballers to Anthony Daly’s hurling panel, according to the Clareman however.
The 31-year-old goes out with the Dubs as All-Ireland champions but he failed to make a single championship appearance in the Sam Maguire-winning season last year.
He spent the start of last season travelling and the former captain and mainstay under former boss Paul Caffrey could not force his way back into the starting XV.
The Evening Herald reported earlier this week that Gilroy hopes for a change of heart from Henry.
did he get a medal? anyone know what the criteria is for all-ireland medals?
