AFTER HANGING UP his spikes after a successful career as a 400 metre sprinter, David Gillick returned to his roots earlier this year to add ‘Gaelic,’ ‘Association’ and multi-directional movement to his chosen sport.
11 years after putting on the colours of Ballinteer St Johns, Gillick put his world and European indoor medals in the drawer and took back a place i lár na páirce for his club.
