INJURY-PLAGUED LIVERPOOL striker Daniel Sturridge will link up with medical experts working for the Boston Red Sox baseball team in an attempt to solve his long running leg problems.
The 25-year-old recently spent time in Los Angeles working on his thigh injury and will now link up with medical specialists at the team owned by Liverpool owner John W Henry.
Sturridge has only played three games this season and suffered his most recent injury in November.
The striker scored 25 goals in all competitions last season and will be accompanied to Boston by Liverpool’s head of conditioning Glen Driscoll with the club believing the Red Sox have specialists who could help him in the long term.
