CRYSTAL PALACE’S CHEERLEADING troupe caused a stir in the Championship last season and now the Eagles have secured promotion to the top flight, they have released a video to celebrate the achievement.

Known as The Crystal Girls, the dancers, who have in the past taken to YouTube to cover ‘Call Me Maybe’ and ‘Gangham Style’, are covering the club’s adopted anthem ‘Glad All Over’ – a 60s hit by The Dave Clark Five.

The girls were banned from dancing at Wembley during Palace’s play-off games and are likely to be getting plenty of attention from fans of travelling Premier League clubs when the new season starts in August.
