FOR THE THIRD year in a row, Kilcormac/Killoughey are the Offaly senior hurling champions after victory over St Ryangh’s today.
Conor Mahon found the back of the net after just four minutes as the 2012 and 2013 champions raced into an early 1-2 to no score lead but Rynagh’s fought back to reduce the deficit to just two points at the break, Joseph O’Connor’s maximum making it 1-9 to 1-7.
Dan Currams grabbed Kilcormac/Killoughey’s second goal of the game not long after the break as his side outscored their opponents 1-9 to 0-2 in the second half to claim a 12-point victory.

Shelmaliers and St Anne’s will have to do it all again after a 1-10 to 0-13 draw in the Wexford senior hurling decider today.
A low scoring first half in Wexford Park saw St Anne’s lead 1-3 to 0-5 at the break thanks to Liam Rochford’s goal.
However, the sides could not be separated in the first final since 2003 that didn’t feature Oulart-the-Ballagh and will have to go again next week.

In Carlow, St Mullin’s are senior hurling champions for the 24th time after a two point victory over Naomh Eoin in a low-scoring affair at Dr. Cullen Park, last year’s losing finalists coming out two point winners 0-9 to 0-7.
