FOUR FANS OF the video game, Fifa 2012, will attempt to break the World Record for playing the game in aid of Children In Hospital Ireland.
They will play for 2,012 minutes (33 hours and 32 minutes) and aim to raise at least €2,012, according to their Facebook page.
The challenge, entitled ‘Fi-Fa-4-Fun’, will look to raise funds for the children’s charity, which is a voluntary organisation that has been in existence for the past 41 years and aims to provide direct support for sick children and their families.
The event, which was established by Jason Coomey, Ross Herlihy and Ronan Morrison, will begin on December 10 and will break the previous record by over three hours if successful.
