McGregor climbs to 10th in the UFC rankings for the first time after Brandao KO

He may be only three fights into his UFC career, but the Irish flyweight is moving ever closer to that title shot he has talked about.

CONOR MCGREGOR HAS broken into the top ten in the UFC flyweight division after his victory at UFC Dublin over the weekend.

The Dubliner made his return from ACL knee surgery in hugely convincing fashion — knocking his opponent Diego Brandao out four minutes and five seconds into the first round of the headline bout at the O2 Arena.

And McGregor, who stated that he and his SBG team-mates are planning to “take over” the UFC after Saturday’s event, has climbed two places from 12th in the newly-updated rankings.
