COLM COOPER AND Paul Galvin return to the Kerry team for Sunday’s crunch league game against Tyrone.
The attacking duo, who were introduced in the last round in the victory over Cork, make their 2013 starting inter-county debuts.
Club commitments had ruled them out for the early stages of the league campaign with Cooper now named to start at centre-forward while Galvin is selected alongside him on the wing.
Team captain Eoin Brosnan, rested for the game against Cork returns at centre-back as manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice makes three changes in all for the game in Healy Park in Omagh.
The players to lose out are Listowel Emmett’s Brian Maguire, Cromane’s Donnchadh Walsh and Dr Crokes player Kieran O’Leary.
Rookie full-back Mark Griffin is given another chance to impress as he will start at the edge of the square.
The clash is a vital one for Kerry as they aim to claim the win that could help them preserve their status in Division 1 of the Allianz football league
The Kerry substitutes have also been named for the game with Bryan Sheehan a notable inclusion on the bench after his recent injury problems.
Tyrone manager Mickey Harte has made three changes for the game. Justin McMahon comes in at full-back while Darren McCurry and Ronan O’Neill are named in the corner-forward positions.
Conor Clarke, Conor McAliskey and Mattie Donnelly are the three players to make way.
Injuries have forced James Horan to change his side for Sunday’s Division 1 tie against Kildare. Defender Keith Higgins, midfielder Barry Moran and attacker Jason Doherty are all forced out.
Shane McHale comes into the side at left corner-back, Jason Gibbons is drafted in to partner Seamus O’Shea at midfield while Alan Freeman replaces Doherty at full-forward.
The Mayo substitutes have also been named for Sunday’s match.

Laois boss Justin McNulty has made three changes from the side that defeated Longford for their clash with Wexford. Kevin Meaney comes in at midfield in place of Conor Boyle, while Conor Meredith replaces Billy Sheehan at centre-forward and Colm Kelly in named at corner-forward with Padraig Clancy making way.
Ciaran Lyng is a notable returnee for the Wexford team for the clash with Laois as he has been selected at full-forward alongside Shane Roche and Ben Brosnan.
After their loss to Derry, Louth have made three changes for Sunday’s clash with Longford. Conor McGuinness comes into the defence in place of Gerard Hoey, with John O’Brien switching to corner-back.
Conor Rafferty is named at centre-forward replacing the suspended Mark Brennan. Finally Derek Maguire comes in at right corner-forward with Ciaran Byrne moving to full forward as Shane Lennon misses out through injury.
Armagh have had to plan for their clash with Galway without captain Ciaran McKeever, who is suspended, Johnny Hanratty (unavailable) and James Morgan (injury).
Paul McKeown, Mark Shields, James Lavery and Charlie Vernon all come into the team.
Gareth Bradshaw, Niall Coleman, Eoin Concannon and Mark Hehir all come into the Galway team for Sunday’s clash with Armagh.
Fiontan O Curraoin, who is involved with the county U21 team for tomorrow’s Connacht final, Anthony Griffin, John O’Brien and Danny Cummins are the quartet to make way.
Division 3
Both Monaghan and Antrim have named unchanged teams for their clash on Sunday.
Stephen Bray returns to the Meath team at full-forward instead of Brian Farrell on Sunday. That’s the only change made by manager Mick O’Dowd for the clash in Navan.
