Colin Kelly appointed Louth football manager

He takes over from Aidan O’Rourke.

FORMER PLAYER COLIN KELLY is the new manager of the Louth senior footballers.

The county board confirmed the appointment in a tweet this evening.

Kelly takes over from Aidan O’Rourke who left the position in July after two years in charge. The former Armagh All-Star had the option of a third year but decided to step down from the Wee County hot seat.

Kelly is no stranger to management having guided Louth to a Leinster U21 final in 2012.

Louth will play Westmeath in the first round of the Leinster senior football championship again in 2015.
