THE INTER-COUNTY season may well over at this point, but the club calendar is as busy as ever, with some big hurling games taking place this weekend.
St. Jude’s, led by Dublin star Danny Sutcliffe, play in their first ever Dublin SHC final on Friday night, taking on Ryan O’Dwyer’s Kilmacud Crokes.
Elsewhere St. Annes and Shelmaliers meet again for the Wexford SHC final replay.
The Kilkenny and Tipperary hurling championships will have plenty of action while on the provincial front, the Leinster and Munster club championships get underway.
The most exciting clash over the weekend could well be on Sunday afternoon, where Ballygunner and Cratloe face-off in the Munster quarter-finals.
