Don't call it a comeback

Giggs, Scholes and the Nevilles to boot up as 'Class of 92' take to the field again

The Manchester United legends will line out for a fundraising game.

MANCHESTER UNITED INTERIM manager Ryan Giggs will play at least one game next season as the ‘Class of 92′ get set to take on Salford City in a fundraising game on August 7.

Alongside the likes of Gary and Phil Neville, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt, the 40-year old will play in the game against the Manchester based team they all own.

There is no official confirmation as to whether or not that other famous Class of 92 graduate David Beckham will appear in the game but there was as strong hint.

The group bought Evo-Stik First Division North outfit Salford in March and, in a joint statement, have said they are excited to be playing together again.

“We are really looking forward to the match, it will certainly be competitive.

“It will good to play with each other again, it’s been a long time but more importantly we will want to give Salford City a tough game.”

It was then they gave a hint that Beckham could well be joining them.

“We are going to ask some familiar faces to play with us and we will be sure it will be an entertaining game for the fans of Salford,” they added.
