FORMER CORK FOOTBALLER Ciarán Sheehan enjoyed a successful Aussie Rules debut for Carlton this morning.

The Melbourne side beat the Gold Coast by 39 points at the Etihad Sadium.

The Éire Óg clubman played the entire game with Aussie commenters impressed with his ball use.

Sheehan set up one goal and notched over a dozen possessions.
