Cian Healy just burned his girlfriend real bad on Twitter

It’s okay, Holly. This whole Brian O’Driscoll drama has thrown us all.

LEAVE IT TO Cian Healy to lift us out of despair on a day like today.

The Leinster prop, after a tough leg workout in pre-season with Leinster, took to Twitter to point out that his girlfriend Holly Carpenter had been overwhelmed by the volume of Welsh additions to the Lions XV.

He tweeted: “So, @Holly0910 is doing well on learning about about rugby, but I think she may have a bit to go…”

With a screengrab of texts they had exchanged.

Damn you, internet jokes!

3 reasons Jonathan Davies needed to up his game, not Brian O’Driscoll

Hi Michael, just to let you know the Irish Women’s Rugby team won the 6Nations this year. If you like I can arrange a meeting where they can teach you all that they know about rugby….

I don’t think he was referring to the minority of women that play rugby in this country.

I have a feeling that he’s referring to the “fans” that only watch to see Tommy Bowe and give out about perfectly legitimate tackles on said player, have no clue about the rules of the sport, watch 6/7 games a year max and insist on talking during the game! Women are more than welcome to watch the games if they choose, but they should do so in the company of other women… The lads would love it, not having to explain that why every penalty was given!

    Bring on the red thumbs!

David, rugby has laws not rules! Maybe you don’t know as much as you think you do.

Rules of the sport. Laws of the game.
