YOU MIGHT REMEMBER those pictures that were doing the rounds a couple of months ago of Commander Chris Hadfield trying his hand at hurling and hanging out with a couple of the Antrim lads.
It was all part of a Tourism Ireland campaign to produce this “Astronaut’s Guide to Hurling.”
In the two-minute video Hadfield is briefed by Antrim legend Terence ‘Sambo’ McNaughton who warns him that “we know you walked in space but that’s a dawdle compared to this game.”
How did he fare? Not too bad, actually:
