Cushendall's biggest fan Chris Hadfield hangs out with Antrim hurlers

The Canadian astronaut watched ALL the club side’s games from space.

CHRIS HADFIELD ENJOYED his hurling experience, in Dublin, so much during the week that he decided to drop in on the Antrim hurlers for an extra lesson.

The Canadian astronaut, who gained fame for his social media and photography exploits on the International Space Station, is in Ireland this week to take up a new role as a tourism ambassador for Ireland.

He met up with hurlers Neil McManus and Shane McNaughton and looked the part; wearing a jersey from Antrim club side Cushendall.

Hadfield is a legend but he must have a pain in his balls with the Irish patting themselves on the back, suffering Ryan Tubridy and struggling to support the weight of all those ridiculous GAA and Rugby jersey gifts.
