Brosnan could miss out on semi-final start

Jack O’Connor ready to make major changes to his back lines ahead of Mayo clash.

EOIN BROSNAN MAY have to make do with a place on the Kerry bench for next weekend’s All-Ireland SFC semi-final against Mayo, writes Peter Sweeney in the Irish Daily Star.

The Dr. Crokes utility man, who has started every Championship game at centre-back since his recall to the panel, is likely to be overlooked in favour of Aidan O’Mahony at number six.

Kerry will also be boosted by the news that Darran O’Sullivan, one of the front-runners for Footballer of the Year, has recovered from a slight hamstring strain and will be fit to start on Sunday week.
