Blue steel: Dublin hand Sutcliffe first SHC start

Tomas Brady, Stephen Hiney and Conal Keaney will also make their comebacks against Laois on Sunday.

DUBLIN SENRIOR HURLING manager Anthony Daly will give U21 star Danny Sutcliffe his first SHC start in their quarter-final with Laois on Sunday.

Ross O’Carroll, Paul Schutte, Martin Quilty and most recently corner-forward Alan McCrabbe are all sidelined through injury, while Ryan O’Dwyer misses out because of suspension.

20-year-old Sutcliffe, who plays for St Judes and is 16/1 to win Young Hurler of the Year, also come in at wing forward.
