BIG BUCK’S, PAUL Nicholls’ star staying hurdler, has been retired from racing after he finished fifth in the World Hurdle at Cheltenham.
“We’re delighted he has come back in one piece and Andy and I have just decided that he’s retiring,” said trainer Paul Nicholls.
“We’ve been talking about and we’re not going to ask him to do any more. He’s been a legend.
“He didn’t have the legs on him as before. He will now have an honourable retirement. It’s great to end of a good note and great for him to end in one piece.”
Ruby Walsh added: “He was a great horse and have a nice retirement. He will have a good home somewhere.”
