The 10 best Premier League goals of 2014

From Wayne Rooney’s lob to Tomas Rosicky’s gorgeous dink, there have been some terrific top-flight strikes this year.

NOTHING DIVIDES OPINION like great goals. For all those that will argue how RVP’s flying header against Spain in the World Cup was a moment of genuine craft, inspiration and excellence, others will claim it’s overrated. But still, each wonder strike should be savoured.

So, without further ado and in no particular order, here are our picks for the 10 best Premier League goals of 2014.

Pender at right back is controversial. But biggest. Gaffe is leaving Conan Byrne out. Goals of the season kept Pats up.

I don’t agree with the selection. Where are Beattie, McCarthy, O’Connor, Morrissey, Buckley, Keohane, Bolger, Dooley, Ellis, Campion, Smith, Dunleavy, and Byrne? Other than that, everything is OK.
