Jackman says his 'short and medium-term future is in France'.

'Welcome to Chez Jackman' - Bernard Jackman's life in France looks pretty great

RTE went behind the scenes in Grenoble and life looks good for the former hooker.

‘WE WANT TO bring French flair back to the Top 14,’ Bernard Jackman says to RTE in what could easily be his mission statement as Grenoble head coach.

Then of course, he qualifies that ethos by describing the unique blend of people at his club.

“Maybe it is a bunch of paddys, South Africans and Fijians and a few French guys but that is where we want to get to.”

It is hard to argue with Jackman so far given his side are just one place and one point off the playoff spots in the Top 14 and have played a game less than the three teams above them.

This video gives you a good idea of what Jackman’s life in Grenoble is like – The Irish aren’t there to take part, they are there to take over (Sorry, Conor).

The temptation of living in a Crepe-rich area would be too strong for most but Jackman looks to have benefited from all the positives Grenoble has to offer.

Going forward, it will be interesting to see what happens career-wise for Jackman if he continues to succeed in France.
