FILMING HAS begun on Stephen Frears’ biopic of Lance Armstrong, which is expected to hit cinemas some time next year.
Actor Ben Foster plays the disgraced American cyclist and, if the first stills are anything to go by, he bears a striking resemblance to Armstrong.
Not a lot is known about the film but it will be based on Seven Deadly Sins, the book written by Irish journalist David Walsh detailing the years he spent pursuing Armstrong and the truth.
Chris O’Dowd has been cast to play Walsh.
