THERE WAS GOOD news for ex-Wallabies captain Michael Lynagh today as he was allowed to leave hospital two weeks after suffering a stroke.
The 48-year-old was taken in to the Royal Brisbane Hospital complaining of headaches during a flight from his home in London to Australia and has since been receiving intensive treatment there.
Lynagh, a former fly-half who led his country to the 1995 World Cup and is Australia’s all-time record points scorer with 911, thanked the staff who cared for him before tweeting:
