AUSTRALIA WINGERS JOE Tomane and Chris Feauai-Sautia will miss the third Bledisloe Cup encounter with New Zealand due to hamstring injuries.
The duo sustained the problems on Tuesday, and join Christian Lealiifano (ankle) and Scott Fardy (eye) on the Wallabies’ growing injury list.
New South Wales Waratahs winger Peter Betham has been drafted in for Saturday’s encounter with the All Blacks in Dunedin, with Australia hopeful Tomane and Feauai-Sautia will be available to travel to England next Friday ahead of their five-Test tour of Europe.
The Wallabies head into the Bledisloe fixture with Steve Hansen’s men holding an unassailable 2-0 lead, prolonging their 11-year wait to be named victors.
Openside flanker Michael Hooper is confident of finishing with a flourish, but warned Australia to eradicate lapses in concentration during the game.
“We’re really excited about the challenge this weekend, going over and playing the Kiwis over there. We’re really excited about that prospect,” he said.
“In the first couple of games we had 15 minute periods where we could get two tries scored against us and then it’s even for the rest of the game.
“It’s in that 15 minutes that we lose it for ourselves. The more we can tidy that sort of area up and keep our performance together it will be good.
“I think they can definitely leak points if we are good with the ball and finish things off.”
