AUSTRALIAN RUGBY CAPTAIN Ben Mowen visited a recently opened gallery in Turin that celebrates the football career of former Juventus and Italy star Alessandro del Piero.
The Wallabies are in Italy for their November Test with the Azzurri, at Stadio Olimpico, this Saturday. Del Piero is playing A-League football Down Under with Sydney FC so, in the words of out-half Bernard Foley, a Skype date was arranged.
Del Piero had a chat with newly appointed Wallaby captain Ben Mowen and wished him luck ahead of this weekend’s match. From the video below, it would appear that the Italian knows all about Israel Folau and little else about rugby.
