It was a cracking run… but that finish?


TIM CAHILL MAY have slotted one of the finest goals of the World Cup so far but things aren’t going as smoothly at home for some of his fellow countrymen.

Check out this utterly abysmal attempt from the Gippsland Soccer League match between Monash and Falcons 2000.

After going on a terrific mazy run and ignoring the excitable shrieks of his team-mate, the unlucky number 13 found himself in prime position.

Things didn’t quite work out, however.
