What a start by Austin Stacks. Donaghy blasts the ball to the net after an extended passage of play where the ball was transferred between Stacks players near goal. Mid Kerry couldn’t cope with Donaghy’s strength and he fired home a fine score. Then Shane O’Callaghan pointed for Stacks before Kerry minor winner Liam Carey gets Mid Kerry off the mark.

Shane Carroll knocks over a close-range free after Shane O’Callaghan tore through and was fouled by Pa Kilkenny. Then Greg Horan is fouled after a great run and Carroll points another free.
