Sanchez puts Arsenal in front but Ulloa equalises for Leicester

The Chilean’s strike was cancelled out at King Power Stadium.

ARSENAL AND LEICESTER are tied at 1-1 in their Premier League encounter at King Power Stadium after Alexis Sanchez’ opener was swiftly cancelled out by the The Foxes’ Leonardo Ulloa.

Chilean front man Sanchez had the straightforward task of tapping in a 20th minute goal – his first in the league – when Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo’s effort deflected into his path.

But Leicester conjured an immediate reply after Jeff Schlupp burst down the left-hand side and crossed for Argentine striker Ulloa to calmly head into the net.

Earlier in the game, Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny sustained a blow to the head and was helped off the pitch before returning to play with a protective hat over the damaged area.

However, the Frenchman was permanently replaced swiftly after being beaten in the air by Ulloa for the Leicester goal, sparking some criticism on Twitter as to whether he should have been allowed back on the pitch at all.
