Argentina make 4 changes to starting XV ahead of Ireland clash

Pumas’ flanker Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe will captain the side at the Aviva Stadium tomorrow.

ARGENTINA COACH SANTIAGO PHELAN has made four changes to the team that lost against France for this Saturday’s clash with Ireland.

With Juan Figallo recalled to club rugby duty in France, Maximiliano Bustos comes into the front row for his first cap.

Gonzalo Tiesi has been replaced in the centre by Santiago Fernández while Gonzalo Camacho and Juan Martin Hernandez take the respective places of Horacio Agulla and Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino.

Hernandez, the man who masterminded Ireland’s World Cup exit in 2007, will start at fullback, leaving Nicolas Sanchez at out-half.

The Pumas defeated Wales at the Millennium Stadium two weeks ago but lost 39-22 to the French last time out.

Saturday’s match will be the 18th clash between the two countries. Ireland have won nine, while the Pumas have seven wins. There has been a solitary draw.
