THIS WAS THE scene that faced Cork goalkeeper Anthony Nash as he came up to take a 21-yard free in the opening minutes of this evening’s All-Ireland hurling final replay.
He still scored.

That was a glorious goal!
I looked up epic in the dictionary. Saw the above picture
If we had won that pic would have been Iconic…but sadly twas not to be,
Is it ok to say well done to Clare just wish it was anyone else was their gaffer!not that Davey will care mind you,
Touché Sam. Clare’s ability to score at crucial times was phenomenal. Every time we got a goal they went down the other end and scored, every time they got a goal they won the puck out n tapped over another, it meant that – just like the drawn match – our goals were only worth two points. Add to that, once we got level they went and scored three points without reply. Clare have one hell of a team n worthy All-Ireland winners.
Our lads did us proud though. Made a terrible start but managed to make it a close run thing n performed with skill and decorum throughout. If we had one other player on the same wavelength as Seamus Harnedy we’d be unbeatable!
The bones of €300 on two days out, we lost in the end but thanks all the same to JBM and the lads as I had a couple of amazing days with the ol’ fella and the greatest game on earth!
Clare had too many guys on the line 4 on the line might have had a better chance clearer view to try stop it.
