Does this angle definitively prove that Luis Suarez bit his opponent?

The player himself, along with other members of the Uruguayan camp, have denied the accusations.

AS MANY RUSHED to condemn Uruguayโ€™s Luis Suarez after he allegedly bit Italyโ€™s Giorgio Chiellini, others urged caution.

After all, the immediate TV replays were not entirely clear. Moreover, some members of the Uruguay camp vehemently denied the accusations, including Suarez himself and captain Diego Lugano, who snapped: โ€œYou need to show me [the incident] because I didnโ€™t see anything.โ€

Yet the latest footage, as seen below, appears a little more conclusive than the initial pictures.

Cue Jamie etc to come on and try defend the indefensible. We could see from other camera angles what he did but now this one is 100% concrete evidence to what the little rat didโ€ฆ..again.

Looks to me like he was yawning, tripped, and accidentally stumbled into the Italian. And as for the bite marks? Hives, nothing more.

Ya that is pretty clear cut, if FIFA have any semblance of credibility left it has to be a ban & a long one

Yeah Colm, clear cut, from a Liverpool fan. Fifa in my eyes too, have zero credibility, and will do all the right things, for all the wrong reasons, will ban Suarez pretty good, but more to save face, rather than ever doing it right the first time. Like many things that happen in Fifaโ€ฆ.. they might be happy about this, taking heat away from the obvious bribes they take.

    I agree Graham.
At this stage nothing would surprise me what FIFA would do. They are as corrupt and incompetent as you will find.

He has also done the English, Portuguese, Italian and Spainish teams a massive favour by taking the worlds medias attention away from there horrendous World Cup campaigns.

What I do not understand is why he did this when his team were in with a good shout to win the Tournament (as good as any team Iโ€™ve seen at this WC anyways). I think this may show us that maby he has some physiological problems and needs help. But that said a ban is still the correct way forward from here. Maby a 1 year ban from all football (Club and Countrywhich FIFA has the power to impose)and if he gets a physiological assessment and some professional help then maby reduce it to 8 months if he is passed โ€œmentally fitโ€ by an independent sports physiologist.

Itโ€™s a shame really as from a neutral point of view love watching the guy play as letโ€™s face it heโ€™s a bit special. Also he fills role of panto villain in British press with aplomb

But totally agree he needs help. Think the circumstances of his impoverished upbringing was part of defense last time but there must be something deep rooted going on there

Itโ€™s fairly inconclusive alright what he did. You could even see it in his reaction after receiving the elbow from chiellini. If Suarez was innocent he would be rolling around the box screaming at the ref for a peno. Instead he looked very sheepish. Dunno if FIFA will dish out a ban as it might still suit them to have one of the worlds big stars in the world cup. Such a great player, shame he lets himself down like that.

If youโ€™re dog did that heโ€™d be put down, the 1st time.

Iโ€™m not saying he should be put down but itโ€™s obvious Suarez bites him.

A lengthy ban, seeing as itโ€™s his 3rd similar offence, and psychological help (more importantly).
