ANDREW CONWAY HAS scored his second try in two games for Munster to help the province into a 20-12 half-time lead over Edinburgh in their RaboDirect Pro12 clash at Meggetland.
Conway benefited from some good work by CJ Stander down the left-hand side, allowing the left wing to show off his pace before finishing under the posts. The conversion from JJ Hanrahan put Munster into a 10-3 lead, following as it did a penalty from the out-half.
Edinburgh were first on the scoreboard through Carl Bezuidenhout, who crossed in the left-hand corner, although captain Greig Laidlaw failed to convert. The Scotland international was on target with his next kick, adding the two points after prop WP Nel crossed the whitewash.
A 26th-minute penalty from Hanrahan put Rob Penney’s side back into the lead at 13-12 before Denis Hurley stepped inside to make it 20-12 at the break, Hanrahan providing the extras:
