The slick Italian strikes dead balls with a casual and languid style that is a joy to watch and he was at it again during a friendly for Juventus against a Singapore selection.
He usually goes high and hard but that is the beauty of Pirlo. When you think he’s going to zig, he zags. The poor keeper almost does a Grobbelaar just trying to get to it.
I haven’t seen such an accurate low drive since Alan Thompson bamboozled Jerzy Dudek in this Uefa Cup game at Anfield in 2003.
Still think this near miss by Pirlo from the World Cup was his best effort (And gets extra points for the banging dance tune in this video).
