Allardyce set to sue Kean over YouTube video - reports

The West Ham manager has taken exception to remarks made about him in an internet clip that has recently surfaced.

SAM ALLARDYCE IS preparing to sue current Blackburn manager Steve Kean over remarks he made about the West Ham boss in a controversial YouTube clip that has recently surfaced, according to reports.

Kean was secretly filmed by supporters during Blackburn’s pre-season tour of Hong Kong, criticising Allardyce and making unsubstantiated allegations about him.

The BRFC Action Group, thought to be responsible for the video, have consistently campaigned against Kean and the club’s Indian owners.

And Blackburn supporters are set to meet with MP Jack Straw and British sports minister, Hugh Robertson, later this week, to air their concerns.

A statement from their committee read:

“We as a group of supporters, elected by its members, are disgusted that our club has been allowed to be pillaged with very little resistance from the regulatory bodies who should act in the best interest of the sport and supporters.

“We are pleased to announce that the Premier League has invited the BRFC Action Group for a full meeting to take place in the next couple of weeks. We are further delighted that the sports minister has also agreed to a similar meeting to discuss the goings-on, behind the scenes, at our club.”

Blackburn were relegated from the Premier League last week, after losing to Wigan.
