THE PLAUDITS HAVE come streaming in for Sunday’s All-Ireland hurling final after Tipperary and Kilkenny finished level after a spellbinding clash.
There’s been plenty debate as to where the clash ranks in comparison to some of the other recent classic games at this stage and the brilliant showdowns of yesteryear.
That got us thinking as to whether itwas the greatest All-Ireland senior hurling final of all time?
There’s been some superb showdowns down through the years like Kilkenny’s two-point win over Cork in 1983 and Cork’s success in a seven-goal thriller against Galway in 1990.
There was the drama of Offaly’s victory in 1994, the seismic wins for Clare and Wexford in 1995 and 1996, along with the stunning matches served up by Tipperary and Kilkenny in 2009 and 2010.
Last year Clare and Cork produced two amazing games that yielded 84 scores including 11 goals.
But we want to know what do you think was the greatest ever All-Ireland hurling final after Sunday’s battle that finished Kilkenny 3-22 Tipperary 1-28.

Not surprised at all. It’s been a disaster since day one with McLaren. Hopefully he get the alpine seat and can get back to the form he showed at redbull.
I feel sorry for him cause he’s one of the most likeable characters in the sport. Hope he finds some form somewhere else.
