16 COUNTIES WILL be in the draw tomorrow morning for this year’s All-Ireland senior football qualifier round 2 clashes.
This week’s action in round 1 of the qualifiers along with the last four provincial semi-finals across Ulster, Connacht and Leinster have determined the teams involved.
The draw will be broadcast live on TV3 at 8.30am.
The eight winners of the first round qualifiers will be in one bowl with the eight beaten provincial semi-finalists in another bowl.
The qualifier victors this weekend were Laois, Tyrone, Fermanagh, Louth, Longford, Galway, Armagh and Derry.
They will face off against the beaten provincial semi-finalists from Munster (Clare and Waterford), Connacht (Leitrim and Roscommon), Ulster (Cavan and Down) and Leinster (Wexford and Kildare).
Four games are set to be played next Saturday July 6th with the remaining four to be held on Saturday July 13th.
The games are being split in order to prevent counties having to undergo a six-day turnaround from provincial championship exits.
That means Clare, Waterford, Roscommon and Down will be in action next Saturday while the four counties who lost out this weekend – Cavan, Leitrim, Wexford and Kildare – will all feature on July 13th.
