Wenger 'fears the worst' about Alex Ferguson's autobiography

The former Manchester United boss releases his new book tomorrow.

ARSENAL MANAGER ARSENE Wenger has joked that the world of football is bracing itself for the imminent publication of former Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson’s new autobiography.

Ferguson, who retired in May, will officially launch the book at a press conference on Tuesday.

Wenger is certain to feature in it, having been one of Ferguson’s most prominent sparring partners during his 26-and-a-half-year Old Trafford tenure, and the Frenchman said he was intrigued to discover the book’s contents.

“We all fear the worst!” Wenger said at a press conference ahead of his side’s Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund.

I think it is good that he makes a book. Maybe he does not have enough time to think about his whole career. It is a bit short between the moment he stopped and the moment he brings his book out.

“But maybe there are some other books coming later, so there could be two, three or four (versions) of it.”
