HE’S ONE OF the brightest prospects in Cork hurling.
He’ll be part of the senior squad that takes on Tipperary in next month’s All-Ireland senior hurling semi-final.
Tomorrow he’ll be involved in the Bord Gáis Energy Munster U21 hurling final as Clare take on Cork in Ennis.

13. What’s your favourite sport other than hurling?
“That’d be Gaelic football. I played with the Cork U21′s this year and also play football for my club Douglas.”
12. Who’s the most entertaining person you follow on Twitter?
“I have to say one of my buddies Shane O’Donoghue. The stuff he comes out would always give you a lift on a bad day.”
11. Do you have any pre-match superstitions?
“(Get the) championship haircut and even though I don’t go often, I try to go to mass the morning of a big game.”
10. What was the last film you saw?
“Bad Neighbours. It was a very funny film.”
9. What TV programme do you always Sky Plus?
“The Sunday Game, if I miss any big games that I’d like to see.”
8. What star from other sports do you most admire?
“Conor McGregor. I think his positivity and the belief he has in himself is phenomenal.”
7. What’s the most memorable game you’ve played for your club?
“A minor football county final with Douglas.”
6. What’s the most memorable game you’ve played for your county?
“It’s hard to go past my senior hurling debut for Cork against Waterford earlier this year.”
5. What’s your favourite app on your smartphone?
“Twitter most definitely. I’m fairly addicted!”
4. Name the sporting event you’d most like to attend in the world?
“The Champions League final.”
3. What was the first inter-county senior game you ever went to?
“The All-Ireland hurling final in 1999 with my dad. I remember it was lashing rain but that didn’t matter seeing that Cork beat Kilkenny by a point.”
2. If you could have dinner with any three celebrities alive or dead, who would they be?
“Lee Evans(Comedian), Conor McGregor and Roy Keane.”

“Ben O’Connor, seeing that I’m a forward. His skill was unbelievable.”
