Is this the most over-exaggerated reaction to a tackle you've ever seen?

Embarrassing stuff.

FOOTBALL HAS A play-acting problem. There’s no question about that, you can see examples every weekend in the Premier League, La Liga, basically wherever you look.

The week before last we saw this plainly embarrassing moment from West Ham defender James Tomkins where he was pushed in the chest but somehow seemed to suffer a severe jab of pain to his face.

Tomkins’s effort is horrendous and embarrassing. He certainly won’t be bragging about that to his mates. We think we’ve found an even more embarrassing one, however.

On Saturday Leeds United beat Derby County 2-0 but it was the actions of Leeds striker Adryan that really stood out for us.

Barely clipped with a slide tackle he goes down, rolls around a bit and then seems to feel a second burst of pain as he leaps into the air somewhat in the fashion of a seal.

After sacking three managers this year, Leeds owner Massimo Cellino may be forced to quit

Is Ireland’s favourite Frenchman planning another return to Arsenal?

Send him home. He won’t fit in in England. He’s like a fish out of water.

I’d love to see Paul O’Connell or Aiden O’shea bury those lads with a tackle.

I’d rather see O’Connell line him up with the kick he delivered to Dave Kearney last year, that’d give him something to roll around for!
Ironically the only thing that you can be certain of when a player is rolling around on the ground like that is that they are not hurt!

Such dishonesty – no wonder then that all the nation’s scobes go around wearing ManU and Chelsea replica shirts, and are as bad as their ‘heroes.’ Wouldn’t get that in rugby football.

That’s just honest thuggery though. They know full well that it will be seen and dealt with. Not one of them would say ” it wasn’t me,I did nothing, it was an accident, you’re wrong ref, etc etc”,while crying like a spoilt brat to the ref. They take their punishment.Footballers cheat/deceive (try to) every single week and no-one dares say anything. They lie and try to cheat for everything, irrespective of importance.Throw ins to penalties. They know the authorities and media will never do/say anything. The level of honesty,of “sportsmanship” displayed in football is the lowest of any major sport.
