ONE OF THE distinguishing features from Manchester United’s disappointing 2-2 draw with Fulham was the number of crosses they put into the box over the course of the game.
And United have shown this tendency in general under David Moyes, with critics branding the style old-fashioned and inept.
Even the Fulham manager, Rene Meulensteen, hinted that it made life easier for his side, telling BBC Sport.
“Their game plan was straightforward. They put crosses in from wide angles. We defended it well.
“If you are well-organised, it can be easy to defend against.”
