VIDEO: Just the 19 goals for you in this crazy junior cup final

Winning coach Sean Fleming admitted that ‘it wasn’t a day for defences’.

LET ME START with an admission – I once saved a penalty for my Thomas Davis U-11 side and then curdled the milky glory by throwing the ball ‘soccer style’ to the nearest defender.

Now, sit back and enjoy 19 goals of varying quality from the Danske Bank Ennis Cup Final.

The teams taking part were St Joseph’s Donaghmore and Edmund Rice of Glengormley.

My personal favourite of the goal avalanche is number five. Nifty jinks from the full forward, tip onto the bar by the goalie and a rebound treacling in with all the speed of toothpaste from a near-empty tube.
