Over 1.5 million viewers tune in for All-Ireland football final

The figures represented a 74% share of those watching television at the time.

OVER 1.5 MILLION sports fans tuned in at the peak of yesterday’s Sunday Game Live coverage of the All-Ireland final on RTÉ Two, TV figures have revealed.

Meanwhile, an average of 1,041,000 viewers watched the game that saw Dublin claim their second All-Ireland SFC title in three years.

The figures represented a 74% share of those watching television at the time.

In addition, a peak audience of 1.542 million viewers watched the game.
